More than work: an office that radiates wellbeing and hospitality

We aim to create work environments that are not only functional, but where people truly feel at home. Our vision goes beyond the traditional office: it is a place that radiates wellbeing and hospitality, where comfort, atmosphere and a warm welcome take centre stage. Here, work and life come together in an environment that inspires and connects.

The result is a space where calm and refinement coexist, without ever feeling distant or impersonal.

Harmony between nature and design

The concept is strongly inspired by nature. Natural elements are reflected throughout both the choice of materials and the overall design: stone, wood and soft tones echo the surrounding greenery. These are combined with flowing, organic lines in both the furniture and architectural details, creating an interior that expresses harmony and a strong connection to nature.

The power of natural materials

One of the most striking features of the design is the floor, finished in flagstones — natural stones in varying sizes that together form a playful yet powerful pattern. This floor creates a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, adding character to the spaces. Wooden accents further enhance this feeling, bringing warmth and tactility to the overall design.

Respect for the existing structure

On the ground floor, where the reception area and meeting rooms are located, the original industrial ceiling of the building has been preserved. To improve acoustics, the ceiling was finished with a natural spray plaster. On the floor above, where the office spaces are situated, a sleek Mortex ceiling creates a calm and refined atmosphere that perfectly complements the work environment.

Bespoke design and light

The interior is largely composed of bespoke elements, carefully tailored to the needs of each space. From the reception desk to meeting rooms and workstations, every component is designed with attention to detail and functionality. Glass partitions allow abundant daylight to flow through the building, reinforcing the open and light-filled character of the spaces.

Warm accents and biophilic design

Warm terracotta and red tones were chosen as colour accents. These bring vitality and warmth, strengthen the connection with the natural surroundings and give the spaces an inviting and energising atmosphere.

At Meliopus Workplace Design, people are always at the heart of what we do. We design spaces with attention to neurodiversity, intergenerational collaboration and individual preferences, always striving for a strong and inclusive user experience. Biophilic design plays a key role in this approach: natural influences enhance wellbeing, health and social interaction, resulting in a more efficient workplace with reduced stress and absenteeism.

Bringing nature indoors

We take into account the 15 principles of biophilic design, including for example:

  • Form: flowing lines, views of nature and spaces for rest
  • Materials: sustainable, natural materials with rich and tactile textures
  • Natural elements: the integration of plants, water, sensory experiences, light, scent and colour
  • Mystery: the promise that there is more to discover, sparking curiosity

This office project demonstrates that a thoughtful design not only creates a pleasant working environment, but also enhances the wellbeing and productivity of everyone who works there.
