Meliopus Workplace Design: a fresh look, the same drive
We’ve got news! In our latest podcast episode, we announced something we’ve been working on for a while: the workplace design team at Meliopus is getting its own identity. Not a drastic break, but a logical next step. After years of experience, dozens of projects, and a steadily growing team, we felt it was time to position our workplace story more clearly in the market.
What’s changing? In short, not much. We’re simply making it easier for people to find us, understand what we do, and work with us. We remain part of Meliopus, but we’re giving our team and our approach a distinct look and feel. And we’re proud of that.
What does this mean for our clients, partners, and the industry? Here’s a summary of the main takeaways from our announcement.
Why a separate brand?
After years of growth, numerous projects, and a stronger team than ever, it was time to position our workplace design services more clearly. By giving the team its own identity, separate from the broader Meliopus service offering, our expertise becomes easier to find and more recognizable for clients who are specifically looking for workplace design support.
Meliopus remains a full-service partner. The workplace design team now operates with its own identity, energy, and marketing, allowing us to focus even more effectively on the specific needs of companies that want to optimize their work environments.
What’s changing?
For our existing clients and suppliers, very little. The same people, the same location, the same collaboration. What will change is how easy it is to find and understand our services. On our new website, we explain our offering in clear terms, including the tools and methodologies we use.
Our approach: four clear building blocks
To make our process more transparent, we’ve divided our methodology into four key blocks:
- Strategy – Everything related to strategic workplace planning and studies, from mobility and space requirements to finding the right location for your company.
- Design – Concept creation, layout plans, 3D renders, and material selection. This is where the virtual model of your future office takes shape.
- Build – The realisation phase, from technical specifications and price requests to coordination and final delivery.
- Activate – Change management and communication. We guide employees through the transition to their new workspace, offering practical support and post-move care.
Clients can choose the full journey or select one or more of these blocks, depending on their needs.
Design & build: turnkey solutions
More and more companies are opting for a design & build approach. It offers a single point of contact, certainty around budget and timing, and less internal hassle. Thanks to our network of reliable partners, we can deliver this model in a transparent and efficient way.
What makes Meliopus Workplace Design unique?
- A human approach: We believe in co-creation and open communication, not corporate distance.
- Facility expertise: Our designs are not only visually strong but also functional and sustainable, supported by our background in facility management.
- Flexibility: We work with both large corporations and SMEs, from 20,000 m² offices to 50-person teams. Activity-based working and efficient space use are at the core.
- Human-centered and efficient: We create inspiring environments that are motivating, practical, and cost-effective.
The future of workplaces
The workplace sector continues to evolve. Many companies are encouraging employees to return to the office, while flexibility and activity-based working remain essential. New technologies and generations are reshaping how we work, making this an incredibly dynamic field.
In conclusion
The Meliopus workplace design team has matured. We now have our own identity and website, but we remain firmly rooted in the facility management expertise of Meliopus. We look forward to creating many more successful projects together with our clients, in a human and effective way.
