Our story.

2016

Foundation of Meliopus

In 2016, Johnny Trioen founded Meliopus with a clear vision and the ambition that laid the foundation for an exciting journey.

2019

Filip Mollaert comes on board

In 2019, Filip Mollaert joined as a shareholder. Since then, Johnny and Filip have worked together to boost the team and the company’s performance.

2022

Exponential growth

November 2022 marked the real start of exponential growth, with a team of 15 employees, including 8 permanent staff. This is when plans were made to expand to a larger office.

2023

Strong performance

Meliopus ended the year 2023 with a total of 38 employees, of which 29 were dedicated permanent employees.

In terms of performance, they achieved a turnover of 3.6 million euros in 2023, reflecting both financial stability and the trust of their customers and partners.

2024

Rent additional office space

Although we don’t have any immediate plans for exponential growth, we’re keeping our options open. The additional office space next to our current office will be used in the future to create extra workstations, but primarily to set up comfortable meeting rooms.

2025

Adjustment of our service offering

Our range of services is broad. To make it clearer for visitors, clients, and suppliers, we decided in 2025 to give it a fresh new look. The Workplace Design team will get its own brand, while the other two are now more clearly defined as Operational Facility Management and Facility Consulting.
